We supply and support a wide range of surgical and therapeutic lasers for veterinary use. We also supply a revolutionary new surgical instrument – Onemytis® – which offers high levels of precision at low temperatures.
Lasers are becoming an increasingly important part of the veterinary toolkit for treating both large and small animals. For the cost of a handpiece, a surgical laser can be easily converted to a therapeutic laser, allowing your practice to offer High Energy Laser Therapy as well as laser surgery.
We work with some of the UK’s leading vets, providing high levels of service based on our unrivalled expertise. All our lasers are compact, portable, easy to use and extremely versatile. They also represent excellent value for money. If you are considering investing in lasers for the first time or think you could be doing more with them in your practice, talk to us. We are here to help.
“Excel Lasers are very knowledgeable about their products. You are not just buying a laser, it is the people and the relationship that goes with it. They are always helpful and give us great service and great value.”
Richard J. Payne, Rossdales Equine Hospital, Newmarket
Less bleeding: the laser seals small blood vessels as it cuts, dramatically reducing blood loss and giving a clear view of the surgical field.
Less swelling: the laser does not traumatize tissue and by sealing lymphatic vessels, it also minimises oedema.
Less pain: by reducing trauma to the tissue and sealing nerve endings as it cuts, the patient experiences much less post-operative discomfort and the wound is much easier to manage.
Less chance of infection: surface bacteria are destroyed by the heat.
